Cadenza for Fractured Consciousness: A Personal History of the World’s Most Misunderstood Illness

For the last three years, I’ve worked on a personal research project; an effort to summarize the history, biology, and social implications of FND. It tells some of my own story and experience with the condition too. And now, it’s out: “Cadenza for Fractured Consciousness” is published on Medium.

My whole heart went into this, and I think it’s my best effort to date. I hope you find it illuminating.

Enjoy!

  1. A remarkable article well written and cited.

As an individual who was diagnosed with FND after a 7 year diagnostic journey I’ve written a book called FiNDing Hope which I’m taking to publishers soon.

    I’d love to connect @jbystromwriter
